The Diploma in Information Technology teaches young people about IT in business. The employer-endorsed content is up-to-date and relevant, reflecting the blend of business, technical, interpersonal and project skills needed by someone who is thinking about a career in the IT and Telecoms sector.
Through completing the Principal Learning, learners will:
- investigate technology systems used in business
- explore the impact of technology on organisations, individuals and society
- design and build small-scale technology systems, including databases and networks
- acquire the knowledge and skills they need to create effective multimedia products
- learn how to manage and deliver successful IT projects
- develop their team working, communication skills and problem solving skills.
