Manufacturing and Product Design

The Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design provides a motivating and broad-based programme of study. It introduces learners to the breadth of the manufacturing industries and environments through a holistic approach at applied learning; utilising practical delivery methods to bring alive and contextualise theory and develop learners’ practical manufacturing skills.

The aim and scope of the Diploma is to:

  • provide a real picture of the manufacturing industry
  • provide learners with an understanding of the economic and cultural value of manufacturing
  • contribute to sustainability and the future of the manufacturing sector
  • broaden learner awareness of significant industry drivers.
